As you said clearly on your post the first aid kit is very important, never the less it’s critical that the kit is in a reachable and remarkable pocket of the Backpacks, if self injured or out of conscious.
Good point that homes and vehicles should have first aid kits. Many homes only have simple things such as band-aids, and most cars probably don’t even carry that. And it’s imperative when you are in the outdoors, especially for any lengthy period of time.
